It is a very close call. Some of the best features of the Lasko 4900 are the same for the Lasko 4905, for example, we loved the twin 120v outlets, it made the pro-performance fans very convenient for home improvements and job sites. The 3 high-velocity speeds and the pivoting head were also the same, as was the 10ft power cord. All of the features that the Lasko 4900 and the Lasko 4905 made them both easy and practical to use.

The color was one of the main differences and it is difficult to make a decision on this because it is a personal preference. That being said, we preferred the Lasko 4905. It looked less like a worker’s tool and felt that it would look better in homes.

Today’s overall winner is Lasko 4905. This was not only for the color but also for the slightly better airflow. Also, when comparing various prices, we felt that the Lasko 4905 was better value for money.
