The Final Verdict

Whether you have your heart set on the HP Officejet Pro 8710 or the HP Officejet Pro 8720, you won’t be disappointed. There were some things we loved about both of them, for example, the design of both is modern and they look good in all settings. The options to connect the two printers are numerous and even when more than one device is trying to print, they don’t get confused. We were also very impressed by the speed of both printers. They are faster than most inkjet printers, but you don’t lose any quality with your prints.

The HP Officejet Pro 8710 had two advantages. First, we preferred the size. It was smaller and quite a bit lighter. This printer is also cheaper than the HP Officejet Pro 8720. With those two things in mind, we still decided that the HP Officejet Pro 8720 was the better printer.

On paper, it is a faster printer, but you won’t notice a massive difference here. It comes with NFC which is an advantage. However, what was more important for us was the bigger touchscreen. 2.65 inches was just not big enough for anyone with larger than average fingers. But the main reason we preferred the HP Officejet Pro 8720 was or the HP Jet Advantage Print. We decided this was an excellent feature to have when cybersecurity is being increasingly more important, not only for your home but also for small office locations.
